Pistola KWC Smith & Wesson M4505 - Primeiras Impressões

Eu não conhecia este mercado de Springers "de luxo". E resolvi experimentar. Não é ainda um review. São apenas primeiras impressões de uso e acabamento desta pistola de Airsoft.

 

Ela é uma reprodução da Smith & Wesson m4505, arma de mesmo nome no calibre 9mm (9x19).

 

Coisas que eu nunca tinha visto: arma Springer de slide de metal.

 

Fiquei curioso em experimentar uma arma desta depois dos reviews do Karolaza e do Charles Dias da KWC 1911A1.

 

Tanto a 1911A1 quanto esta S&W são armas que a KWC chama de série HPA ou algo como High Power Airsoft ou coisa assim.

 

E comprei a minha na Falcon Armas por cerca de R$300,00

 

Ao receber a pistola pude comprovar que o slide de metal faz um diferença enorme em relação a outras armas monotiro de mola. Puxar o slide de metal dá uma impressão muito mais satisfatória do que outras springers de plástico.

 

A primeira olhada é, portanto, muito positiva. O slide de metal confere mais peso a arma o que também aumenta a sensação de qualidade e realismo.

 

 

O carregador é bacana e fácil de alimentar. Possui mola com trava e tem funcionamento bem bacana. Poderia ser de metal e ajudar no equilibrio do peso.

 

 

A arma possui marcações pintadas e um curioso "marcas registradas" em bom português... (?)

 

Mas a voltando ao desempenho, o peso da mola para armar é bom e tiro, realmente mais forte do que o previsto. Mais forte até do que o tiro de armas elétricas.

"Marcas Registradas"

Has anyone wondered why Smith and Wesson's have "Marcas Registradas" on the side of their hand guns? And what and why that is?

It is Latin not Spanish and it translates to registered trademark. "Marcas Registradas" markings were introduced during the 1930's in response to foreign copies and counterfits that were flooding Mexico, Central America and South America. Smith & Wesson changed their simple "Made In USA" rollmark to a more complex four line bilingual version.

Outra: em maio de 1948, S&W mudou seu simples " Made in U.S.A. " ( vigente desde 1922 ), para essa versão bilingual.

O objetivo foi combater os clones de baixa qualidade, principalmente os espanhóis.

Para colecionadores, significa arma do período pós-guerra.

E é em Latim mesmo.

Eu sabia o lance dos clones e que era latim, tenho o real mcCoy ( S&W mod 27 ), mas o resto eu colei da internet.

 

Editei: a Colt tb. sofreu com os " cavalinhos " bascos, os felizes proprietários mais ainda.

 

A referência na época, no interior do Brasil, era o 32 niquelado, com " cabo de madrepérola " ( plástico símile ) ,alguns de" escanhotar ".

 

Dizem em Minas que " cortava" muito, alguns não funcionavam com o cano para cima ( isso não sei se é mito )

The word "marca" is not Classical Latin. The word exists in Medieval Latin, where it is a loanword from (probably) a germanic term. The participial form "registrada" is neither classical or medieval Latin, though it has been shaped by rules of Latin word formation. The proper Latin form (if the underlying verb actually existed) would be "registrata," with a t before the final vowel.

"Marca Registrada" is the term for "Trademark" in both Spanish and Portuguese, though the spelling "registada" is also seen in Portuguese-speaking countries. S&W had experienced problems with Spanish knock-offs of their revolvers in the early 1900s; they had also fulfilled two huge contracts to provide weapons to Brazil, a Portuguese-speaking nation, in 1937 and 1946. Roy Jinks has reported that the company found it necessary following an infringement lawsuit in the 1920s to mark their exports to Spain with a Spanish-language trademark to protect their legal rights there. Before WWII, some exported guns were so marked. Shortly after WWII, with the recent 1946 Brazilian contract still visible in the rear view mirror and with the possibility of new international trade opening up in Spanish-speaking countries, president Carl Hellstrom decided to simplify export labeling by just putting the phrase on all company products. It was easier to mark all guns than to keep track of the ones going to specific countries and labeling only those. The order to make the change to the four line address block containing the phrase "marcas registradas" was issued in April of 1948.

S&W wasn't the only company to do this. Am I the only one who remembers the "marca registrada" phrase molded into Coke bottles in the 1950s? I guess there was a body of international copyright law that required imported products to carry trademark notifications in the language of the importing country.

I'm not sure why Brazilian contract guns, all shipped before 1948, don't have the phrase; perhaps the court case had no effect outside of Spain and it is only coincidence that the Spanish phrase is also used in Portuguese.

I can answer the Marcas Registradas now.
It's Latin for "Registered Trademark". S&W apparently had a lot of trouble with patent and trademark infringements in foreign countries in the early 1900's. South and Central America were (reasonably) big markets for S&W, so that's naturally where the imitators were busiest.
Supposedly, S&W chose Latin because not every country or region spoke the same language, but Latin was at least somewhat familiar to all (especially attorneys, regardless of country, I would think). I've read that the marking started on "Registered Magnums"- the early .357 that became the Model 27, but cannot verify that.
I have read Roy Jinks, the S&W historian, say that it was being marked only on guns that were being imported to other countries, but it became too much trouble to just mark some guns. In 1948, S&W started marking all their guns that way.

Porque vírus do airsoft?

Eu lido com armas de airsoft a 5 anos.

Já joguei vários jogos e estive em evento nacional.

Eu acho que o airsoft não é o vírus, só um sintoma. O vírus é o tiro, que acaba se manifestando em ar comprimido (com carabinas e pistolas), airsoft, arco/balestra, "pórva" e até estilingue!

 

E todo mundo por aqui, em maior ou menor grau está "contaminado"! kkk

Boa definição. Embora eu tenha participado dos jogos e conheci muita gente bacana lá, a minha preferência sempre foi pelas armas em si.
